Condensed Milk.
Foolproof Chocolate Fudge
3 (6-ounce) packages semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk)
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Line an 8-inch square pan with waxed paper.
- In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips with condensed milk.
- Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients.
- Spread evenly onto lined pan. Chill 2 to 3 hours or until firm.
- Turn fudge onto cutting board. Peel off paper and cut into squares.
Store, loosely covered, at room temperature.
